On 20 July (and repeated while Wait Mode was in effect),

"The SIA is in the middle of developing a private wiki to help gather information about SOCK2. If you're interested in helping out (and possibly learning a thing or two), please consider joining our guild at no risk--if you don't like it with us, we can arrange your departure from the guild nearly as quickly as you arrive. If you'd like more information before applying, please see http://www.geocities.com/whocares1002/sia.html."

On 9 August,

"Every attack on the summons of the SIA is an attack on our guild and will be treated in kind. You've been warned."

On 12 September,

"Were you a victim of a super-powered attack by Mazell due to his Might or Focus buffs? Did you have a harder time inflicting magic damage? One simple Dispel from Sirius and your problems would have been solved. However, our source of Dispel was targeted and felled by the Hidden Hand (specifically Raaj and Kharamain). Please consider joining us in 'thanking' them for their efforts with our actions tomorrow." (This message would have been better-received, probably, had we not handed the last blow on Mazell. Oops.)

On 14 September,

"We would simply like to set the records straight and inform everyone of the following. Outside yesterday’s actions and our previous announcement, the SIA has not attacked a single player nor targetted a summon in this game. Our recent actions have only served to follow through on our promise to retaliate when the well-being of our guild is threatened. We are happy to play a clean game, contestants versus the monsters, allowing luck to play where it will. Some of our actions have indeed been altruistic in this game, casting Libra on mutual targets, Dispelling enemy buffs, and with your cooperation, we can try to continue to help the greater good when we can. Our guild wants nothing more than to be able to play the game, to observe what we can about all the monsters, items, classes, and abilities available.

Based on our observations, it would appear that successfully using the Key to Victory will not end the game, because Matt has said it’s far from over. We have now shown that we will retaliate if provoked, but we are willing to put past transgressions aside and would much rather continue to play the game together, answering trivia and fighting enemies the same way we have in the past."

I hope we can put the soapbox away now and just play the game.

7 August - Genjuu commands The Watcher to scan ERROR.
8 August - Alael, UFJ, and Genjuu (via Glalie) attack ERROR's summon Electabuzz.
9 August - Boojum, Draconn, Nightwolf, and Thinkfreemind attack ERROR's summon Electabuzz.

14 August - UFJ (of the Guild of Magus) has blatantly disregarded our announcement and struck Electabuzz for a piddling 9 points.

06 September - Leaper hits Sirius with Darkra (128pts), may have been accidental
06 September - Jess casts Blizzard on Sirius (13pts), but was confused at the time
06 September -Sean attacks Sirius (16pts).
06 September - SuperKyle attacks Sirius (36pts), Gaijin casts Blizzard on Sirius (14pts), Flamethrower casts Fira on Sirius (33pts)--these are all members of the Order of Beorn.
06 September - Raaj (36pts) and Kharamain (33pts), both of The Hidden Hand cast Fira on Sirius.
07 September - Kharamain (HH) uses Umber Mote on Sirius, killing it. Vengeance will be sweet.
13 September - Sundoulos (OoB), Alael, and Kharamain (HH) all attempted to attack Joshua, but failed miserably.
14 September - Raaj and Sandy said mean things. Not that we really need to say mean things back.
19 September - Sandy used a Libra Mote on MrMSty. The Guild of Magus probably has at least as many jerks as the Hidden Hand, though perhaps a smaller proportion of them. We can hope, anyway.
25 September - Leaper's stupid Storm spell, which is random yet annoying, struck Ifrit for 81 damage.
27 September - FoxKelfonne Blizzagas Ifrit for 99 damage. Man, I hope someday we can kick the asses of every member of that sorry guild. Pardon us for living!
28 September - Flamethrower of the mostly unorganized Order of Beorn casts Blizzara on Ifrit. Leaper's stupid Storm spell strikes again. But Ifrit healed himself to maximum.
